Pantalonnière Commode Art Deco Style André Arbus Twentieth Century

Important "pantalonnière" chest of drawers in sycamore veneer. The slightly rounded front opens onto 9 drawers. Each drawer is decorated with an overflow ring on its upper edge thus simulating a crosspiece. Corner bases with curved legs. Original glass spherical sockets. This is a variation, by a follower of André Arbus, of the famous 9-drawer chest, presented in 1935 at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs by André Arbus. This well-known model will appear in many variations in the interior design of the designer.
Fair condition, scratches, top to refinish.
