Original large early Biedermeier Armoire in French polished cherrywood, from Rhineland, Germany circa 1820.

Wood: Wonderful, friendly and light cherry veneer, hand-polished with shellac (French Polish). Very special is the beautiful big veneered cornice, the classicist arch on the doors and the four very functional and lockable big drawers in the bottom. Ebonized ovals around the keyholes and ebonized inner edges of the arch at the front Inside three shelves covered with black fabric. Working, old box lock.
Can be dismantled into foot, head and two side parts, rear walls and doors.
