Object description :

"Virgin And Child In Biscuit And Porcelain From Paris - Charles X Period Circa 1830"
Bisque porcelain statue of the Virgin and Child. It rests on a blue globe with gold stars adorned with the monogram AM (Ave Maria), placed on a porcelain base gilded with fine gold. Porcelain from Paris, Empire Restoration Period, circa 1820-1830. (Charles X) Beautiful object of piety, ideal for a "chateau background", to complete a decoration from the beginning of the 19th century, one of those little details which create an authentic atmosphere. Very good general condition, no cracks, no breakage, fresh gilding, beautiful colors. Maybe a very small accident to the hand of the baby Jesus, unless it is an original mold defect. Total height 28cm
