17th century Italy Rare front of Italian chasuble embroidered in Orient point or Majolica dating from the 17th century. Embroidered hemp background available in three vertical bands sewn with a large baroque decoration. High polychrome silk embroidery with floral scrollwork patterned in scrolls and loaded with pomegranates, tulips and lilies. The missing white silk reveals the light brown hemp background. Without lining. Stable state. Nice presentation.
