Traces of freckles in the painting mainly in the sky. A Prosper Renaux exists, he was born in 1793 and died in 1852. Architect, he worked in the departments of Gard and Vaucluse. He worked in particular on the restoration of the Roman arch of Orange, member of the French society of archeology and architect attached to the commission of historical monuments.
