"Double Salt Shaker In Silver And Glass, France Circa 1817"
Double salt cellar in openwork and chiseled silver decorated with water leaves, flowers and foliage. The frame is made up of two nacelles held by uprights formed from antique vases, ribbons and butterflies, a central baluster-shaped socket adorned with swan heads and terminated by a ring decorated with cornucopias and palmettes. The colorless glass cups are original. Empire period, work circa 1817 Silver 950/1000, Coq hallmarks (1809-1819), hallmarks of average guaranteed Paris Hallmark Master Goldsmith: Naudin frères, engraved circa 1812 Length: 17.5 cm Width: 7.4 cm Height: 18 cm Net weight: 157 gr Good condition / trace of an old weld
