"A. Mazoyer Art Deco Lamp 1925"
Beautiful light from the Art Deco period signed by the master glassmaker Adrien Mazoyer (1887-1950) marked under the base -Mazoyer France and the design of a symbolized painted mill- By tradition the works produced in the period 1920-1930 bear the signature "A. Mazoyer" followed by a drawing of a mill painted with black enamel. Double-lit mushroom lamp (in the cap & the base) composed of a semi-spherical cap and a baluster-shaped base in frosted glass richly enameled with beautifully stylized Art Deco floral motifs resting on a hammered wrought iron grinding . Good condition, note some usual chips at the contact of the glassware and the wrought iron frame, visible only the lamp removed. Dimensions: 25.5cm high X 20.5cm wide.
