"V-shaped Boomerang, Australia, Aboriginal Art, Nineteenth"
End of XIXth - beginning of XXth century

Long. between the two ends: 27 cm L. right wing: 4.5; L. left wing: 5; L. middle: 6.5 cm
This wooden copy is entirely stone-cut on both sides and in the direction of the wood, with short hollow facets. The edges are thinner, the ends rounded and the profile biconvex. An incised zigzag decoration ends the end of a branch. Carved, sculpted and incised throwing stick, the boomerang is a weapon used for hunting and playing.
The very particular shape in acute angle is the rarity of this specimen.
