"Shaman Mask, Humla Region, Nepal"
Shaman mask of purification.
Wood, metal, yak hair Mask representing a face surmounted by a bun. A brass sun is encrusted in his forehead.
The mouth is open and shows metal teeth (several teeth are missing in the upper part).
Iron staples are placed on the forehead and chin where yak hair (some remains) were stuck. Slits, h: 31.50 cm
