Painting Oil On Canvas, Nude In An Oriental Setting Maurice Briard

Beautiful and large oil on canvas, French school signed from the 1920s representing a naked young girl in an Orientalist setting (on a sheepskin rug next to a Moorish table). The painting is large and impressive and is in good condition and ready to hang. Maurice Briard studied with Gérôme, and exhibited from 1924 at the Salon des Artistes Français (of which he became a member) and at the Salon des Artistes Indépendants.
His paintings are often of sleeping women.
