"Ewer And Its Basin In The Empire Style, Silver, Early 19th Century"
Ewer and its silver basin in the Empire style and from the Restoration period.
The basin is decorated with 4 wall mounted mythological scenes and a frieze of water leaves. The ewer is decorated with a frieze decorated with swans, sea horses, crowns and masks, the handle is in the shape of a winged victory holding a bunch of grapes in its hands.
Marked with initials: MH.
Hallmarks:
Paris 1er titre, 1819-1838 (old man).
Average Guarantee.
Illegible silversmith.

Condition report: Very good condition. Old trace of restoration on the base (small silver solder).
