"Large Patronymic Benitier Plate - Nevers Epoque XVIIIth Century"

Large patronymic stoup plaque in polychrome painted earthenware representing Saint Peter and his keys, surrounded by garlands of flowers and foliage. This plate bears the annotation Pierre Begas and dated 1786. The periphery of the plate is scalloped with foliage decoration in relief. This plaque also bears a date incised on the back 1785. Nevers earthenware from the 18th century. This plate has 3 fixing holes to fix the holy water receptacle. This plate is in perfect condition, it has no breakage or restoration. Dimensions: Height: 39.5 cm - width: 28.5 cm
