Henry De Waroquier - Oil On Canvas

Large oil on canvas, still life with hawk by Henry de Waroquier (Paris 1881 - 1970).
French painter, sculptor, draftsman and engraver, he had a workshop in Montparnasse and frequented, among others, Modigliani and the School of Paris.
Sculptor from 1930, engraver from 1936, fresco artist, in 1937 he produced a wall composition for the Palais de Chaillot "La Tragédie".
He produced boxes of tapestries for Aubusson.
Our painting is in good condition (note, a few tiny gaps), very beautiful 19th century frame to restore.
Signed lower left and annotated on the back.
