Exceptional Carpet - Nain Toudech In Wool And Silk Iran XXth 1960 Period Of The Shah Wool Said Kork And Natural Silk Extra Fine Quality. Toudesh is the first workshop to weave Nain rugs Of unique quality but in small production. Origin: exceptional and very fine NAIN-TOUDECH (Iran) imperial workshop Age: around 1950/1960 Dimensions: 266 x 150 cm Density: around 9,000 to 9,500 knots per dm2 Technical characteristics: velvet in kork wool, high quality lambskin, flowers surrounded by natural silk, cotton warps, weft and fringes. Observations: very good condition. Nain Toudech are highly sought after and highly prized. They are identified with the terminal red edging.Description: midnight blue field with flowered palm leaves enhanced with silk in the shape of geometrically stylized exploded diamonds.Triple borders including the main ivory with decoration reminiscent of the central field.
