"Authentic Kente Fabric"
Very beautiful authentic Kente fabric, that is to say it was worn by a member of the Ashanti people. It was not made to be sold to tourists visiting Ghana. "This fabric was originally worn. exclusively by kings, queens and important figures of the Ghanaian state during ceremonies and special occasions. "It is in good condition, even very good condition except for a stain (see photo) Very fine weaving, vibrant colors. It was purchased in the 1990s from an art gallery in Cape Town, South Africa.
