"Eighteenth Veneer Slope Office Inlaid With Marble"
Superb and rare 18th century sloping desk in veneer and curved marble inlay on all sides. It rests on 4 arched feet ending in chiseled bronze shoes connected to the front by a scrolling crossbars. It opens on the front with 3 drawers in 2 rows and a flap on the top containing a castin consisting of 6 niche drawers and a secret hatch and the flap is lined with a leather for easier writing. The entire piece of furniture is adorned with inlays representing flowers and bouquets of flowers, the flap is inlaid with a marble palaque in its center, as is the top consisting of a white marble top. Superb quality furniture in good condition.
