Charming bench with walnut frame dating from the end of the 18th century covered with leather.
it is of very good quality and rests on four curved feet ending in clogs.
it has a rim to accommodate a frame that we have reconverted here from brown leather.
as you wish, you can change the fittings of this frame as was customary in the 18th century: silk in summer, velvet or tapestries in winter. the frame has been revised and re-strapped by our upholsterer.
it is easy to make a second to vary the pleasures.
the bench is very solid and the walnut has a beautiful patina.
