"Nineteenth Century Silver Coffee Maker, Empire Style"
Silver tripod jug. It rests on feet finished in lion's claw, applied with large palmettes at mid-length. The shoulder and the cover are underlined by a frieze of palm leaves. The spout is decorated with palm leaves and flowers and ends in a swan's head. The high handle is in blackened wood and the catch of the cover is in flower bud. The body is monogrammed. Empire style.
