"Pair Porcelain Vases, Empire-style, 19th Century"
Pair of amphora-shaped porcelain de Paris vases with scrolling arms that terminate in rams-heads. Green ground with areas of biscuit porcelain, gilding, and hand painted decoration in gold glaze of laurel wreaths, eagles, imperial bees, and stars.

​Signed on the underside of the base (illeg?)

​​Good overall condition. Wear to the gilding along edges and at base (see pictures). No chips, cracks, or repairs.

​These vases are highly decorative. The lovely green ground and simply painted decoration of the Eagle and the Bee are classic symbols of the Empire period.
