Italian Travel Cabinet

Small travel cabinet in blackened pear and tortoiseshell on a gold background (which gives the orange appearance). On the front, it has four rows of drawers and in the central part a small chapel opening with a small door without hinge. The three-panel top and bottom drawers open in one piece. Four other small intermediate drawers are distributed on either side of the central door. On eight drawer panels, a bronze lion's head trim carries in its mouth a ring formed by two opposing dolphins. On the high central panel, the bronze trim represents a mask.
