"Nineteenth Century Silver Sugar Bowl"
Sugar bowl in molten and chiseled silver resting on a can. Two octagonal lateral handles. The paunchy-shaped body is decorated with flats, valances and foliage on a mat background. The hinged lid is domed, divided into several cartridges and worked in the same ornament as the body of the sugar bowl. The grip is shaped like a leafy button. the interior is golden. Silver 900/1000, French “weevil” hallmarks Probably Belgian work from the 19th century from the Wolfers house, Regency Style. Master silversmith hallmark with initials: WZ, wolf or dog's head. Length: 16 cm Width: 11.8 cm Height: 15.5 cm Weight: 324 gr Very good condition / without shocks or scratches
