Charming and very beautiful representation of the holy family. It is quite rare to see her represented in this way in an interior of a villa (Bergamo?), The virgin with a needle in her hand. A lot of finesse for this beautiful painting, note in particular this window with magnificently represented glass and clasps. The artist masters his subject. We find in this work the Flemish influences but also Italian which can make think of a Flemish painter of the 17th century as part of his grand tour.
