The body is chiseled and presents two cartridges, one decorated with a sculpture representing a man on horseback and the other bearing the inscription "COURSES OF FONTAINEBLEAU GIVEN BY THE EMPEROR IN MDCCCLXIII" or this trophee was offered by the emperor NAPOLEON III in 1863. The cover is surmounted by a love holding a laurel wreath.
