Interior view of the cathedral of Amiens oil on canvas by Marius Michael (1853-1917) genre painter of landscape and architecture, born in Sète. A pupil of Carlus Duran, he started at the salon in 1879 and continued to send there until 1907 (honorable mention in 1885, third class medal in 1888 and silver medal in 1889) this rare painter with an academic touch as post impressionist is conserved in many Parisian museums [1] (Carnavalet, Petit Palais ...) in the museums of Cognac [2] in the museum of Sète as well as in the museum of fine arts of Nantes.65cm x 45cm
