The photographs were taken with the glass. The defects that can appear are due to the reflections of the glass.

Georges Lemmen, 1865 -1916, is a Belgian neo-impressionist painter, engraver and designer.
Georges Lemmen studies at the drawing school of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode.
In the early 1880s, he was influenced by Degas and Toulouse-Lautrec.
In 1888, he joined the avant-garde group Les XX in Brussels, moving in 1890-1893 to neo-impressionism and painting numerous landscapes and portraits using the pointillism technique.
He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris and participated in the Salon des XX in Brussels.
In 1895, Lemmen freed himself from pointillism and painted in a more traditional, impressionist style, but with tones closer to those of the nabis. Georges Lemmen joined the Vie et Lumière association in 1904.
In July 1915, he moved to Uccle, where he died in July 1916.
His work included numerous illustrations from books, posters, ceramics, carpets, drawings, pastels. and gouaches.
