Hercules Farnese In Bronze Italy XIX Th Century

The Hercules Farnese originally is an ancient Greek sculpture.
The sculpture was part of the Baths of Carcalla in Rome. It is exhibited at the Archelogical Museum of Naples.
This copy of Hercules is in green patinated bronze. It has a beautiful quality and beautiful carving. The Hercules is represented, resting his left arm on a lion 's skin. With his right hand he holds three apples behind his body.
A small crack is visible on the right foot.
