17th century, Italian Carved Wood Buffet Cabinet

Particular and valuable buffet furniture, made in Piedmont, in Italy, in the seventeenth century.The buffet is in finely carved nutwood to create frames within geometric interspersed with phytomorphic elements.Inside the frames are carved decorations with foliated elements.The double-body structure has an upper part with three doors with different decorations: the side doors are mirror to each other, while the central shows different decorations.
The lower part consists of four doors: the sides are smaller and the carvings that decorate all the doors are mirror to each other.
This furniture, very spacious, can be designed as a buffet for domestic environments, to be placed in a studio, in a lounge or in a tavern to store documents, dishes or tablecloths.Its ancient charm and its decorative features make it suitable for environments with modern furnishings.
