Curiosity: Candle Lighter

Clever candle lighter with rotating rocker which allows to light candles located very high on altars or church candlesticks. This ingenious rocking system is known in boat lights, it keeps the flame and its fuel in a good position despite all kinds of untimely movements. The set in silver metal, wear to the silvering mainly on the support. The spherical tank has a cotton wick (now absent) containing petroleum or a flammable by-product, it is also equipped with a conical extinguisher maintained by a chain. The spatula-shaped handle is made of composite material imitating ivory. A silver metal support allows it to be stored stably. A hollow punch on the handle that I could not decipher.
