"16th Century Two Italian Walnut And Leather Armchairs"16th century Two Italian walnut and leather armchairs
These ancient Italian armchairs of the 16th century, of Renaissance taste, present small differences in design and decorations.
Made of walnut wood, they have the seat and the back covered with original engraved leather, fixed with studs in wrought iron. From the back and the seat falls a fringe decoration. Thearmrests and the straight legs are joined together by crossbars.Front and under the square seat, the armchairs are decorated with a carved, perforated and decorated band, similar to each other but with small differences in decor, with in the center the Savoy knot or love knot.
These two armchairs can be designed as a table head, alongside contemporary chairs, or exposed in pairs or individually in the studio, in the entrance or in the bedroom. They could also be placed in the bathroom, like chairs.
