Watercolor on paper framed by a Marie-Louise and a contemporary wooden frame. The watercolor is in very good condition. Signature lower right: Georges Villa. Inscription below: Ninette Lamboeuf, that must correspond to the model. The artist deliberately left spaces without paintings, which gives an air of lightness to watercolors. Villa was best known for his posters and illustrations.The watercolor dates from the years 1910-1920, from the Art Nouveau, Art Deco period.
