They tackle questions that were little studied in his time: the nature of aesthetic enjoyment, the different condition of the different arts and their respective power, the part that physical causes can have in the development of genius, in the character of works and in the literary brilliance of certain eras, the art of judging in aesthetic matters and the competence of criticism. Father Jean-Baptiste Dubos (1670 -1742) is a French clergyman, diplomat and historian. Dimensions Dimensions 10.7 cm x 17.8 cm Reference: F10 61 All photos are on: www.antiques-delaval.com
