Elegant portico clock, Charles X period, around 1840, in gilded bronze with mercury. Architecture with two columns carved with spirals on the grounds of griffins, lyres and palmettes. Capital chiseled with palmettes supporting the pediment decorated with a laurel-leaf frieze and gadroon-shaped doucine. Dial highlighted by an outline of flowers, the space between the columns is occupied by a sun pendulum.

Original mechanism without modification, wire suspension, hour and half-hour strike on old bell. Pendulum of quality, beautiful works of columns and its large pendulum.

Perfect authenticity and a remarkable state of conservation.
