"Louis XVI Portico Clock In Marble And Chiseled Bronze, 18th Century"
Superb and elegant portico clock from the 18th century. It rests on 6 small bronze spinning feet, the oval base is encircled with pearls and decorated with openwork and finely chiseled bronze plates. On each side are 2 square columns resting on oval black marble bases, surrounded by gilt bronze urns. Each of the columns is mounted with a top in gilt bronze. In the center is the movement with Arabic numeral with striking, below is an ornamentation in openwork bronze and finely chiseled with foliage crown and flowers. The whole is surmounted by a marble urn with gilded and chiseled bronze ornamentation. Pendulum of supperbe quality and in excellent state of conservation, movement revised.
