"19th Century Theater Binocular In Tortoise With Original Box Bee Clasp"
This pair of binoculars is in tortoiseshell and golden brass. Hallmarked with a bee, following research it would be the house of Lemaire in Paris.There is also the number 61 marked. It is delivered in its original black leather case and golden clasp decorated with a bee, symbol of the Empire.
Blue satin interior. The box is tired and disjointed on the left side. Let’s note the black paint missing and hopping around the glasses.
Sold untested, not revised, not cleaned. Friction and wear are also to be reported.
