Beautiful Napoleon III pendulum. The alabaster and gilt bronze base is decorated with garlands of flowers, acanthus leaves, knotted ribbon and foliage. The enamelled dial surrounded by pearls is signed Vigier Jeune in Paris. Patinated bronze group representing a shepherdess, putto and goat with vines. Circa 1860.
