Pair of bookends in Cast Iron by Max Le Verrier around 1925 The Cast iron is a special alloy of much better quality than the regulates, created by Max Le Verrier and reserved for its own production Green patina, on bases in Portor marble. Each squirrel signed M Le Verrier. There is restautation on one of the ears of the two squirrels (one on the right and the other on the left), small chips on the marble
