"Secretary Louis XVI Period Marquetry XVIII"
Secretary in rosewood, satin and violet wood marquetry, Louis XVI period. It opens with a drawer in the upper part, a flap and two doors in the lower part revealing two lockers and a shelf. The flap inlaid with rosewood in four leaves underlined by light wood and blackened wood framed with violet wood discovers a leather top and six rosewood drawers and a shelf. Front uprights with cut sides with simulated grooves richly adorned with golden bronzes. Sides plated in satin against thread highlighted with an inlaid net framed with violet wood. Rich ornamentation of gilded mercury bronzes with double patina of origin finely chiseled such as falls, keyholes, pulling rings, lamp bases.
