Object description :

"Acapulco Service - Villeroy & Boch"
Acapulco service, from Villeroy & Boch Seven fountain consisting of 121 pieces in very good condition. Each piece presents patterns of doves in bright colors in the middle of branches and flowers. The colors used such as light blue, red, yellow or even orange are typical of the 60s and 70s. Villeroy & Boch wishes to offer, through the production of Sept fontaine in Luxembourg, a robust and scratch-resistant tableware for everyday use in private homes and in restaurants. The motif comes from a Mexican drawing taken over by designer Christine Reuter at the end of the 1960s. Each piece is stamped with the Villeroy & boch Sept fontaine logo as well as "made in Luxembourg, acapulco, porcelain on fire and after a Mexican design ".
