"Unusual Double Photo Frame In Openwork Wood"
Entirely made with a scroll saw, this double frame probably intended for the conservation of photos of a young couple (one of the photos remains in place and their initials in relief are always present at the bottom) has an abundant decor punctuated with ivy leaves which recall the motto "I die or I attach". In the taste of work called "black forest". In the center, on both sides, a glass protects the photo on one side and its location on the other. The glass is held in place at the back by small, perfectly adjusted pegs. It dates from the end of the XIXth century or the beginning of the XXth and is in very good condition considering its age.
