Impressive painting, famous school of Cuszco (Cusco), Peru, oil on wooden panel, representing a young man in a noble's costume with a rifle in his hands. Signed at the top right corner: "BARACHEL" Beautiful example of an indigenous artist in Peru from the early 19th century. His authentic frame from the same period, in carved wood and stuck, gilded with gold leaf sheltering hundreds of small ice creams (tiny mirrors in the round). Very good condition.
