The sculpture is based on the famous work by Joseph d'Aste "Chant des moissonneuses" (1881-1945). Born in Naples, in Campania, in 1881, Joseph d'Asté moved to Paris at the turn of the 20th century. From 1905, he exhibited at the Salon of French Artists. Died in 1945.
