Flemish Painting XVIIth Att. Gp Van Zyt

Oil on panel of the XVIIth century, "elegant to his toilet", attributed to Gerard Pietersz Van Zyl (1607 Leiden -1665 Amsterdam). Very charming genre scene, with details well rendered, like the table carpet in the foreground. The painting is in good condition, on an oak panel. The frame is later (XIX), in walnut burl, blackened wood, and guilloche gilded wood. Dimensions: 54.5 X 48 cm with the frame, 40 X 33.5 cm panel only.
