What If We Said Bitong?

I don't mind but it is not one but if it had been Chinese, this pot would be called bitong as the characteristics are close. The use that is attributed to it would be adequate (brush holder ...). Made of thick hammered copper, this object appeals because the numerous and intertwined patterns, which occupy the entire surface of the pot, remain to be defined. We sometimes consider motifs from Benin, sometimes others that distract us. - Profusion of archers, - of plants, - of caparisoned horses mounted by rasta horsemen, - of a high-ranking figure, standing on the mount in front of "vegetable tentacles as if he had eight arms, - a warrior or a servant kneeling under an archer seems to fill a conch at the waterfall, - another rider holds a torch which lights the scene unless it is a lotus flower in bud, -there is even a woman who stands the chest while his hairstyle escapes from her; -a figure on his knees wishes to speak and stands his mouth, ... what a tangle of lianas, plants, shields, snake, or an idle pattern in all directions ... the message and confused, it changes with each of my readings.
