Large pendulum from the Restoration period around 1830 signed "Jacquet Lacarriere and Dagrin, rue du petit carreau 18" clockmaker referenced in Tardy, dictionary of French clockmakers on the date of 1830.

High manufacture, composed of patinated bronze and gilded mercury bronze. The sculpture is finely detailed and precise. Large sculpture of Caesar as a Roman Emperor holding his sword. sitting on stylized ruins or resting a helmet.

White enamel dial underlined by a gilded and chiseled outline. Rich rectangular base contour of canals, heart-shaped and palmette legs.

Original mechanism without modification, wire suspension, striking hours and half hours on old bell.

Pendulum of excellent manufacture, very beautiful mercury gilding, finely chiseled bronze.

Perfect authenticity and a remarkable state of conservation.
