Lemanceau Saint Clement Ceramics from Art Deco period around 1930. Old sculpture in shiny white ceramic depicting a parrot with geometric lines characteristic of the Art Deco style where sculptures and representations of exotic animals multiply thanks to the arrival in France of the first zoos. Signature in hollow: Lemanceau for the artist and St Clément stamp made in France in green with the stamp for the manufacture (visible at number 3 on the 1930 catalog of St Clément). Model listed in the book Les Craquelés Art Déco by Alain René Hardy and Bruno Giardi, as well as in Craquelés les animaux en ceramic by Patrick Malaureille. Height: 36 cm Good condition.
