"Suite Of Twelve Russian-style Tea Or Coffee Spoons By The Goldsmith Boyer-callot, Vermeil, 19th Century"
Twelve teaspoons, Russian handle, spoons chiselled with leafy motifs, the handle ending in a plume.

Solid silver plated with gold.

Hallmarks
  • French mark Minerve 2e titre (solid silver 800/1000).
  • Master goldsmith's mark BC surrounding a crowned chalice, for BOYER-CALLOT.

  • Weight, 0.335 pounds (152 grams).

These spoons are both simple and very original and refined, taking advantage of the particular shape of the handle "à la Russe" in order to take up the structure and iconography of a fan.The plume-shaped finial is unusual, especially with such finesse of processing.
