Diane after the sculptor Jean Antoine Houdon, bust in patinated bronze, old cast iron, late 19th century. Signed on the back "Diane de Houdon" and on the base "Socièté des bronzes" Excellent condition. Rests on a large plinth in red molded marble forming a clock and signed "Goupil in Paris" Height with plinth 77 cm, bronze only 54 cm. Jean Antoine Houdon (Versailles 1741 / Paris 1828) is one of the most famous French sculptors of the 18th century.
