"Carafe Pitcher Normand Blown Glass Blue Glassware Normandy Late Eighteenth Early Nineteenth Folk Art"
Elegant Norman pitcher, of slender shape, in blown glass,
blue glassware,
with the effect of fine twisted fillets,
slender globular belly with spiral ribs,
hollow handle brought back hot with pliers,
base of the pinched handle turned upside down,
finely pinched beak,
trace of pontil (barely visible, sensitive to touch) and slight signs of wear below.
Normandy late eighteenth early nineteenth.
Good condition, very rare small bubbles and minimal impurities in transparency, normal and current small surface fel key when hot fixing the handle (base of the handle). See photos.
