Bouillon Covered On Display - Bouquets In Camaïeu - Louis XVI 18th Century flag

Object description :

"Bouillon Covered On Display - Bouquets In Camaïeu - Louis XVI 18th Century"
Superb broth covered on its display, in porcelain painted with bouquets in shades of gray, Louis XVI period. The decor consists of many bouquets, all different, hand painted in very fine shades of gray. These bouquets are linked by purple ribbons and garlands of golden leaves. This large garland pattern spreads widely on the display wing, and the edges of the cup and lid. Bordered with gold bands, this decoration stands out against a white background. The formal composition of this porcelain is purely Louis XVI: Detached circular display, punctuated by slight steps, a remainder of transition style which does not qualify this platter. High-heeled throat broth, surmounted by a flattened hemispherical circular cut, with large handles with sober curvatures. Tapered cover with slightly concave cut, ending in a small flattened disc where the fretel is pinned. Signature of the painter engraved with a stylus under the piece. Dimensions: Display: 21.8 cm in diameter Broth: 19.5 cm from handle to handle / diam: 14 cm and 13 cm high Weight: 745 grams
