Harmoni-cor by JAULIN made in Paris, last third of the 19th century.Invented and patented on December 31, 1861 by Louis Julien JAULIN.
According to Jaulin it was intented as an easy-to-play substitute for oboe and cor anglais
Cylindrical mahogany body. A chrome plate receives the pistons housing the free reeds, these are arranged like a keyboard, the piston heads being of ivory and ebony. Chromatic instrument of 2 1/4 octaves (28 notes from B to D).
Two lead pipe to play from two different positions.
Resin mouthpiece. In its original box.
